Review: Bad Dragon Anthrodragon

It was my love of big toys that led me to discover Bad Dragon.  I Googled something along the lines of “large silicone dildo”, and up it popped.  I remember staring at the page in awe, realizing that each of their toys could be ordered in a variety of sizes, colors… even the firmness could be customized.  Not only that, but there were shapes and textures unlike anything I’d seen before.  I was instantly impressed, and have since acquired several of their toys for my ever-growing collection.

My Anthrodragon is medium size in Bad Dragon terms, which means that compared to most toys, one might call it huge.  It has an insertable length of 8 inches, and a maximum girth of 2.75 inches at the thickest part of the head.  The shaft diameter is 2.25 inches.  For me, these proportions are fantastic.  If you want something a little less daunting, the small Anthrodragon has a maximum girth of 2 inches and 6 inches of insertable length.  Mine is medium firmness, which I find delightful.  It has enough give and flex to be comfortable, but is firm enough to stand on its own in all but their thinnest designs.

AnthroD-front

I ordered my Anthrodragon in what I think of as a neon lemon-lime color scheme: a fluorescent yellow tip blending into fluorescent green on the shaft and balls.  The colors came out exactly as requested.  It is insanely, retina-searingly bright and I adore it.  Green is a fairly uncommon color for sex toys and yellow is practically unheard of.  Together, they make a truly unique and striking toy.

I will admit, I was a little concerned about fitting the Anthrodragon in at first, as I’m not used to seeing toys that heavily “front loaded”.   I have larger toys, but they have their greatest width at or near the base.  Fortunately, the top of the Anthrodragon’s head is nicely tapered and the silicone is buttery-smooth.  With lube and a bit of warm up beforehand, its size doesn’t present an issue for me.

AnthroD-head And now, the reason why this toy is in my personal Hall of Fame: the wide, thick head on the Anthrodragon finds my G spot without fail.  It literally can not miss.  With a smaller G spot toy (like the Lelo Ella), I have to be conscious of angle and depth to stay on target.  The Anthrodragon’s head applies solid G spot pressure at any angle.  I am convinced that I could get off just by squeezing it with my PC muscles… but every time I get close that way, I am overtaken with an irresistible urge to thrust.  I am also deeply enamored with the pop of that exaggerated head slipping in and out of my vagina.  About the only issue I have with this toy is that that balls are a bit heavy and awkward while thrusting… but they redeem themselves by holding things steady if I decide I’d rather straddle the Anthrodragon and go for a ride.

As far as cleaning goes, the usual methods for silicone apply here.  Soap and water for regular clean up, boiling or a 10% bleach solution to sterilize.  You can also put it in the dishwasher without soap, if you don’t have kids who would need years of therapy if they accidentally saw it there (which is why I never use the dishwasher method).

You can get your own Anthrodragon at Bad Dragon.  If the price of a custom toy is out of reach for you, you may want to check out Flop Friday.  On most Friday afternoons, usually between 12pm and 1pm Arizona time, Bad Dragon posts its ready made toys (known as “Adoptions”).  There are always some toys discounted for minor flaws, or for being poured from an assortment of leftover silicone colors (“Frankenpours”).

It’s so pretty! I think that is a fabulous fade, and the Anthro Dragon is one of the model I find most appealing. Easy G-spotting action? Please and thank you!

I love the colors you chose. This was the next one I thought of trying from BD but even the small would be a stretch for me.

I don’t really like dildos with ‘testicles’ but I strangely like this – and the colour?! You’re a genius, it’s so amazing!

Thank you! I pondered the colors for a long time, then got inspired to make it neon lemon-lime. Definitely a stunning result…and blacklight reactive too!
