Review: Tantus Rocket

I can’t say no to a pretty sex toy.  If you’ve followed my blogging for any length of time, you’ve probably noticed that I’m a color junkie, addicted to wild hues.  Naturally, I was drawn to the Space Toys line from Tantus.  They’re shiny, bright, candy-colored marvels, and no two are exactly alike.

Tantus was kind enough to send me the Rocket to review.  It’s a simple design…5.5 inches long, straight, with a slightly bulging head.  The maximum diameter of 1.5″ is nicely in the average range.  If you’d like to see those colors on a curved G-spot toy, you can check out the Comet.  There are also two plugs in this line, the slender Meteorite and the Asteroid.  The entire lineup is anal safe, so none of the Space Toys risk getting lost beyond the final frontier.

All the pretties...

All the pretties…

For such a no-frills design, the Rocket does a nice job massaging the G-spot.  It isn’t a non-stop stimulation party like the heavily ridged Echo. It’s more smooth jazz than rock and roll, but sometimes you’re in the mood for something mellow.  While it’s not enough for me to orgasm from G-spot stim alone, paired with a clitoral vibe it gets the job done.  It is a little on the shorter side though, so those who prefer deeper stimulation may want to look elsewhere.

Rocket Head On

I like the Rocket for its “grab and go” size.  Yes, I do love my big toys, but this doesn’t require warm up.  It’s also sleek and smooth, so a little bit of lube is enough.  It’s an ideal travel-friendly dildo, fitting neatly and discreetly in an overnight bag.  It’s also the sort of toy that’s not terribly embarrassing if the TSA decides they need to investigate your carry on bag.  It would also be an excellent choice for introducing a partner to toy play, as it’s cute and non-intimidating,

Rocket and Friend

One last aspect that works in the Rocket’s favor: it’s easy to clean.  There are no seams, ridges or crevices to trap lube and assorted gunk.  Like all Tantus toys, the Rocket is 100% silicone.  Soap and water is good for normal cleaning, boil or soak in 10% bleach solution to sterilize between partners or after anal use.

If you want to snag yourself a Rocket, head on over to Tantus.  If the Rocket isn’t your speed, there are plenty of other body-safe options to choose from!

The Rocket was provided to me by Tantus, in exchange for a fair and honest review.

The colors came out so much prettier in your pics than the stock ones.

They are brighter in person, no doubt about that! It helped that it was in bright sunlight against a white bathtub.
