If you are looking to make the world a better place from an all-around sexual rights and freedom perspective, you can’t go wrong with the Woodhull Freedom Foundation.   They run they amazing Sexual Freedom Summit each year and work tirelessly to affirm sexual freedom as a fundamental human right.


Scarleteen provides comprehensive, inclusive sex education online for teens and young adults.  For those who may not have access to this kind of information in their homes or schools, Scarleteen provides a desperately needed lifeline.  They aren’t just a website, they provide outreach, referrals and interactive services.  They are a non-profit with no public funding, dependent entirely on private donations.

Third Wave Fund

Third Wave Fund is an activist fund led by and for women of color, intersex, queer and trans people under 35 years of age.  As a community fund, they partner with donors and activists to ensure that young people have the tools to make lasting change in their communities.  For twenty years, Third Wave has been a leader in gender justice, a movement to end patriarchy, transphobia, homophobia and misogyny.

RAINN is the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization.  RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline (800.656.HOPE) in partnership with more than 1,000 local sexual assault service providers across the country. RAINN also carries out programs to prevent sexual violence, help victims, and ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice.
